Community Foundations CDC, Inc., formally know as Community Development Corp. of Mooresville/South Iredell is a non-profit organization created in 1997 by a group of concerned community leaders and the Town of Mooresville in order to encourage community development. The organization operates exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the confines of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Service. Throughout our history we have been directly involved in the development of two subdivisions and various scattered site projects. Multiple "first time" home buyers have been assisted through our program. Financial Literacy and Home buyer education classes have been a core part of our education process. Housing Counseling has allowed us to work directly with families to assist them with budgeting and credit repair. We continue to focus on our mission: To provide individuals and families a firm foundation through financial education, the encouragement of home ownership, and the empowerment to lead responsible and productive lives.
Home Buyer Education classes offered monthly. We reserve the right to change dates and locations as necessary. You must register for this class by calling us at 704-799-7641
Community Foundations works with our clients individually. We work together to prepare a family budget, identify credit challenges and opportunities, financial literacy and home buyer education.
